Law firm WilmerHale confirms Judith Hasko's new role as head of the Transactional Department.
In a significant move, WilmerHale has named Judith Hasko as the new chair of its Transactional Department, effective July 2025. Hasko, a nationally recognized transactional lawyer with a strong focus on life sciences, is poised to lead the firm's dealmaking capabilities.
Hasko, who has served as Co-Chair of WilmerHale’s Life Sciences Practice since 2024, has more than three decades of experience in the life sciences sector and advises on complex corporate matters. Her career highlights include her specialization in life sciences transactions, where she has built a reputation for handling sophisticated deals in that field.
As Chair of the Department, Hasko will lead a deep bench of experienced attorneys in advising entrepreneurs, startups, and high growth companies. She will focus on expanding WilmerHale’s capabilities in market-leading transactional work and continuing to grow the team’s depth and expertise through strategic hires and leadership.
Bain hands over leadership of the practice to Hasko after three decades of service at WilmerHale. Bain, who served as chair for three decades, is retiring at the end of the year.
