Lazarev Sanatorium in Sochi is offered for sale once more, at a price of 365 million rubles.
The "Lazarevskoe" Sanatorium in Sochi is on the auction block once more! The troubled JSC "Sanatorium Lazarevskoe" property complex is up for grabs for a spot-on steal of 365.6 million rubles - a cool 10% discount from the previous auction.
This auction is being organized by the spry LLC "Meridian" and open for applications from June 23 to July 28, with the big event itself happening on July 28. The format? Classic open competition, with all the thrilling bidding action you'd expect!
Remember the last time we threw our hats in the ring for the Lazarevskoe Sanatorium in April 2025? Well, that attempt to scoop it up for 406 million rubles didn't pan out - not a single one of the four applicants could meet the participation conditions without committing some nifty violations.
Standing tall in this lot are an administrative building, snazzy residential digs, a contrast bath building, a boat station, and a selection of other intriguing objects. Some of these architectural beauties even enjoy the prestigious status of cultural heritage sites, imposing restrictions on their use. The lucky bidder must respect the sanatorium's storied past, ensuring maintenance of the engineering networks and buildings in accordance with cultural preservation requirements.
Founded in 1994, JSC "Sanatorium Lazarevskoe" formerly specialized in sanatorium and resort treatments. In 2022, the company was in the red with a revenue of 67.9 million rubles and a hefty loss of 9.7 million. The sanatorium's fortunes took a turn for the worst in October 2023 when it was declared bankrupt by PJSC "Yug-Investbank" after racking up a whopping debt of 259.6 million rubles. Alexei Merzlyakov was appointed as the insolvency administrator.
