The long-awaited tender announcement for the Paphos Marina project in Cyprus is expected to be made sometime in August 2025 or at the latest, early September 2025, following the completion of final legal checks and approval by the Cyprus Legal Service.

The tender file for the Paphos Marina project has been prepared and forwarded to the Legal Service for a legal and technical review. The initial publication of the tender was scheduled for June, but it has been delayed due to these final legal checks.

Andreas Demetriades, the President of the Cyprus Association of Large-Scale Land Developments, has made statements regarding the project, expressing his expectation for the tender announcement to proceed without delay once the review is completed.

The Deputy Ministry of Tourism is handling the tender process for the Paphos Marina project, and additional clarifications requested by the Legal Service have been provided. The legal review is either pending final completion or recently completed.

Deputy Tourism Minister Kostas Koumis has reassured stakeholders that there will be no significant delays, with the launch dependent solely on the final approval of the legal documents. The announcement could occur anytime in August but is more likely by early September 2025.
