Mark De Smedt Joins Global HR Solutions Group's Executive Committee
Mark De Smedt is set to join the Executive Committee of our global HR solutions group. CEO Patrick De Maeseneire anticipates that De Smedt's appointment will bolster employee retention, a key strategic focus for the company.
De Smedt brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He previously led the group's Benelux operations from 2002 to 2007. Before joining the group in 2009 as country manager for Belgium and Luxembourg, he founded and managed XPE Group, which was later acquired by our company.
His impressive career trajectory is underpinned by a strong educational foundation. De Smedt holds a degree as a Commercial Engineer from the prestigious Solvay Business School. He has also honed his leadership skills through executive programs at top-tier institutions such as the University of Chicago, Harvard Business School, INSEAD, and the London Business School.
In his new position, De Smedt will work alongside a team of over 31,000 employees across more than 60 countries. The group, a world leader in HR solutions, offers a wide range of services including temporary staffing, permanent placement, career transition, talent development, outsourcing, and consulting. With De Smedt's appointment, the group continues to strengthen its executive team, further enhancing its global capabilities.
