Maruti Suzuki Victoris Launches, Offers Advanced Features & Competitive Pricing

Maruti Suzuki has launched the Victoris, a new SUV that's making waves in the Indian market. It offers a range of engine options and advanced features, while undercutting its competitors on price. Meanwhile, Kia's Seltos continues to impress with its tech and safety offerings.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris boasts a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a CNG option, and a hybrid variant with AllGrip Select AWD. It's packed with tech, including a gesture-powered tailgate, 64-colour ambient lighting, and a premium audio setup. Safety-wise, it's got a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, six airbags, ESC, a 360° camera, HUD, and Level-2 ADAS calibrated for Indian conditions.

Pricing is competitive. The mid-variant is cheaper than comparable Kia Seltos trims, and even the top-end Victoris is nearly ₹70,000 less than the base Seltos. Speaking of the Seltos, it offers a powerful 1.5-litre NA petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel mill. It also has a seamless dual-screen layout, dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, and Level-2 ADAS from the GTX+ trim. However, it falls short with a 3-star Global NCAP rating.

In summary, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris offers a compelling mix of performance, features, and safety, all at a competitive price point. The Kia Seltos, while slightly more expensive, still impresses with its tech and power offerings. Both SUVs are strong contenders in the Indian market.
