MBRAH Expands Line Maintenance Units to Boost Dubai's Aviation Hub
The Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) at Dubai South is currently expanding its Line Maintenance Units (LMUs). The project is set to finish by the third quarter of 2026, adding four new LMUs to the existing seven, totaling 11 units spread across 76,000 square feet.
The expansion is a response to the increasing demand from the aviation community for line maintenance support, as stated by Mohammad Al Falasi, Deputy CEO of MBRAH. The hub, which serves as a key free-zone destination for international aerospace players, is committed to strengthening Dubai's position as a global center for aviation excellence.
The upgraded facilities will include storage and maintenance warehouses, tooling and engineering support, offices, and a world-class pilot rest area. The expansion reflects MBRAH's dedication to building a robust ecosystem that aligns with Dubai's vision to lead globally in aviation.
The expansion of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub is underway, set to be completed by the third quarter of 2026. This project, along with the recent launch of the 'VIP Terminal Boulevard', demonstrates MBRAH's commitment to growing Dubai's aviation industry, despite the lack of public disclosure on specific participants involved in the expansion.
