Mosbirji's leader announces readiness for initial public offerings (IPOs) by 20 businesses under their management.
20 potential candidates gearing up for IPOs on Moscow Exchange, says CEO Victor Zhidkov
"We've got a solid lineup of around 20 companies that are prime for an IPO," Zhidkov stated, "But the market conditions can be fickle and these businesses may take a moment to reconsider their steps." He continued, "Regardless, we're confident any time is the right time to share a piece of the pie with eager investors."
The timing for these IPOs remains uncertain, with Zhidkov refraining from setting a specific deadline. "I can't make any definite predictions for this year," he admitted, "But we've got 20 companies ready to go, each with their own set of reasons for why they haven't jumped into the deep end just yet."
Back in 2025, Sberbank predicted a range of 15 to 20 IPO deals on the Russian market, while VTB estimated approximately 10 to 15 deals.
In March of that year, JetLend, a crowdlending platform, managed to secure 476 million rubles in an IPO on SPB Exchange. Dom.RF also announced plans for an IPO, aiming for the end of the year. The stake to be offered to investors, along with the price per share, are currently under discussion. If all goes according to plan, the ratios might even reach a 1:1, according to Dom.RF's valuation, Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseev.
In 2024, 19 companies took the plunge with public offerings, featuring 15 debuts on the stock market. The total funds raised amounted to 102.1 billion rubles. Keep in mind that the details for upcoming IPOs on Moscow Exchange can be found in official announcements or specialized financial news sources that focus on Russian market listings.
In other news, Herman Gref, CEO of Sberbank, received a cold shoulder when he sought market money for the bank's SPO (stock placement) in 2025. The Uzbek market, however, saw a surge in IPOs during that year, with 11 companies joining the market.
The IPO-ready companies, referred to by Zhidkov, are potentially looking into finance and investing, as they gear up for their public offerings. In uncertain market conditions, these businesses might reconsider their strategies before jumping into the deep end of investing in the business sector.
