Munster Hosts Energy Advice Sessions to Slash CO2 Emissions and Heating Costs
Munster is hosting Energy Advice Sessions on October 7 and 8, aimed at reducing CO2 emissions and heating costs in the city. The sessions are open to landlords, tenants, and homeowners, and will be held at the House of Sustainability on Hammer Street 1. The event is part of the city's climate city initiative and is organized by the Consumer Center in collaboration with the City of Munster's Climate Department.
The sessions will provide advice on reducing fuel consumption and associated costs. On Tuesday, October 7, the session will run from 9 am to 5 pm by appointment only. This is an opportunity for landlords to learn about their legal requirement to contribute to heating costs, with the amount depending on the building's energy efficiency. The following day, Wednesday, October 8, the session will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm without an appointment, making it easier for tenants and homeowners to attend.
Munster's Energy Advice Sessions are a crucial step towards becoming a climate city. By providing guidance on reducing CO2 emissions and heating costs, the sessions aim to create a more sustainable future for the city and its residents.
