MVZ Insolvency: New Solutions Emerge for GP Practices in Koblenz and Middle Rhine

MVZ Galeria Med GmbH has filed for insolvency, leading to the closure of its eight general practitioner practices in Koblenz and the Middle Rhine region. However, new solutions are emerging for the affected areas.

Mohamad Hussein Moslimani is set to take over the GP practice in Andernach, continuing operations in the existing premises. Meanwhile, a promising solution is in the works for the Koblenz location, although specifics are still pending.

To provide immediate care, a mobile doctor's practice will be established at the Volkshochschule in Heddesdorfer Straße in Neuwied from October 9. This service will run at least until mid-December, making stops in Andernach on Tuesdays, Nastätten on Wednesdays, and Neuwied on Thursdays.

Independently of the insolvency, a new GP practice opened as a branch of a Nastätten practice in St. Goarshausen on Wednesday. Additionally, the new head of the reopened general medical practice in St. Goarshausen, Dr. Molitor, will begin his role on October 1.

While the insolvency of MVZ Galeria Med GmbH led to the closure of its practices, new solutions are being implemented to ensure continued medical care in the affected areas. The takeovers and mobile service aim to meet the healthcare news of the communities.
