Neuss Auctions Building Plots for Urban Redevelopment
Neuss residents and businesses are invited to apply for residential building plots in an upcoming auction process, starting October 6, 2025. The plots, located in Uedesheim, Holzheim, and Rosellerheide, are part of the city's ongoing redevelopment efforts.
Applications for private builders close on January 9, 2026, while commercial builders have until January 30, 2026. The plots available include those from the previous marketing phase in Uedesheim - Am Kreuzfeld and Holzheim - Blausteinsweg, along with one in Rosellerheide.
Minimum bids vary by location and plot type. In Uedesheim, single-family house plots start at €950/m2, and multi-family house plots at €1050/m2. In Holzheim, single-family house plots begin at €650/m2. The minimum bid for the Rosellerheide plot is also €650/m2. The bidding process follows the highest price principle, with only one bid per applicant household allowed per plot.
Interested parties should note that only one bid per applicant is possible for the entire construction field or a package, with no selection of specific plots. Commercial builders can bid on single-family and multi-family house plots in Uedesheim and single-family plots in Holzheim. The auction process aims to attract both private and commercial builders to contribute to Neuss's urban development. With varied plot options and clear bidding guidelines, the city invites potential developers to seize this opportunity.
