Nissan Unveils Electrified and Hybrid Vehicles Globally

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. is expanding its vehicle lineup, introducing a range of models that include hybrid technologies, next-generation electric vehicles (EVs), and advanced internal combustion engines.

In FY25, the company will launch three key electrified models in Europe, including an all-new Micra EV city car and the all-new Nissan LEAF. The new LEAF, the flagship model, will feature advanced technologies, improved suspension, a quieter cabin, and an extended range enabled by a 75 kWh battery offering up to approximately 375 miles of driving. This third-generation Nissan LEAF will be available exclusively for European customers.

Meanwhile, in North America, more than 10 new and refreshed products will be launched in key segments, including next-gen EV and hybrid technology, and INFINITI models. The all-new LEAF will also be available in the U.S. and Canada, marking the first market to launch the all-new Nissan LEAF and the brand's first plug-in hybrid.

In FY26, Nissan will introduce a 5-seat compact sports utility vehicle (CSUV) in India, reflecting a strategic product expansion aligned with regional EV infrastructure and consumer demands. Additionally, an additional EV, the all-new, all-electric Juke, will be added to Nissan's European lineup.

The third-generation e-POWER system will debut on the Qashqai in Europe later in FY25, followed by the next-generation Rogue in North America and a large minivan for the Japan market. This system promises up to 15% enhancement in efficiency and lower emissions.

In FY26, production of the all-new, fourth-generation Rogue will begin, offering Nissan's innovative e-POWER technology, a powerful and efficient internal combustion engine, and a plug-in hybrid model.

The upcoming lineup also includes the all-new Nissan LEAF, reimagined as a family-friendly crossover. In FY25, sales of the much-anticipated Ariya all-electric crossover will commence in Australia.

In FY25, the stylish Magnite compact SUV will begin its introduction across African left-hand drive markets. The all-new Patrol will be introduced in the right-hand drive market globally, including Oceania, in FY26.

INFINITI will launch the all-new QX65 crossover coupe in FY26. Nissan is also strengthening its presence in India's market by introducing a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in FY25.

Lastly, an all-new Nissan EV is scheduled to commence production in the U.S. from late FY27, while an INFINITI EV SUV will be produced in FY28. The company is committed to a sustainable future, researching alternative clean fuel technologies, but has not publicly disclosed a comprehensive global electrified model roadmap for FY25–26 beyond the LEAF and the forthcoming affordable electric SUV for India.
