NOVOMATIC AG Appoints Stefan Krenn to the Executive Board
Stefan Krenn, an experienced manager and a proven expert from NOVOMATIC AG's own ranks, has been appointed as a new Member of the Executive Board of NOVOMATIC AG, effective from February 15, 2024. This appointment comes as the company focuses on further expansion and clear positioning on international markets.
Krenn has been with NOVOMATIC AG since 2015 and has held various roles within the company, including Secretary General, Global Division Manager, and Authorised Representative. His most recent role before his appointment to the Executive Board was as Managing Director of several group subsidiaries.
As a member of the Executive Board, Krenn will form part of the three-person team, joining Ryszard Presch and Johannes Gratzl. His appointment has been welcomed by Dr. Bernd Oswald, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NOVOMATIC AG, who expressed delight at Krenn's appointment. Oswald also wished Krenn all the very best and much success with his new responsibilities.
In his new role, Krenn is committed to the sustainable success of NOVOMATIC AG and has expressed enthusiasm for his new position on the Executive Board. He has played a significant role in helping to shape the strategic development of NOVOMATIC AG and has been involved in important corporate decisions, such as explaining strategic offers related to acquisitions like that of Ainsworth.
Prior to his appointment as a Member of the Executive Board, Krenn was already involved in leadership roles within NOVOMATIC, evidenced by his position as a member of the Executive Board before 2024 and his active representation of NOVOMATIC in public and business matters. As a member of the Executive Board, he has publicly represented NOVOMATIC and expressed gratitude on behalf of the company’s founders, showing his established role within the executive team prior to 2024.
Krenn holds a degree in economics and media law and has made an important contribution to the company's success. He thanks the Supervisory Board for the trust placed in him and is focused on further expansion and clear positioning on international markets.
In addition to his role on the Executive Board, Krenn is also a member of the Supervisory Boards of several group subsidiaries.
