In a move that could potentially be a leap forward for PC gaming, Nvidia and Intel have announced a groundbreaking partnership. The tech giants are joining forces to create a new breed of System on Chip (SoC), known as the Intel x86 RTX silicon.

Nvidia is also investing $5 billion into Intel to kick-start this new era of chips in PCs. This collaboration aims to deliver more thin, lightweight Windows laptops for productivity and gaming.
