Before becoming CEO, Al Riyami progressed through various leadership roles within Ooredoo Oman, such as Head of Business Sales, Director of Business, Chief Business and Wholesale Officer, and most recently, Acting CEO since February 2025. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Sultan Qaboos University and has completed several professional leadership certifications, notably from Harvard University. Additionally, he possesses an ILM Diploma in Leadership.
