Kuban Outshines in Gasification Drive: 2025 Goals & Annual Progress
Over 140,000 applications submitted by residents of Kuban region
In a virtual meeting spearheaded by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, regional officials discussed the progress of the national gasification program planned for 2025. The highlight of this discussion focused on escalating the pace of gasification for non-profit housing cooperatives and ensuring a steady gas supply to boiler houses.
Kuban region stands at the forefront among Russian regions in terms of gasification progress, as evident by its advanced results. The region ranks second in the construction of gas networks at land plot borders and third in the completion of gas connections.
Yevgeny Pergun, Kuban's Deputy Governor, shared during the meeting that, within the planned "Gasification" program in the Krasnodar Territory, a staggering 141.1 thousand applications have been processed. Out of these applications, 101 thousand contracts for technological connections of capital construction objects have been completed so far.
Alexander Novak emphasized on Gazprom, in collaboration with regional authorities, to expedite the assessment of non-profit housing cooperatives and boost the process of granting gas connections to residences within these cooperatives. Additionally, preparations for transitioning existing boiler houses to gas fuel were advised.
Recent news revealed that 7 km of pipeline will be developed for the gasification of Druzhnoe, Krasnodar[3].
