Pandora Welcomes New CEO Berta de Pablos-Barbier
Danish jewellery retailer Pandora A/S is set to welcome a new CEO. Berta de Pablos-Barbier, the current chief marketing officer (CMO), will succeed Alexander Lacik, who has led the group since 2019.
Berta de Pablos-Barbier brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She has spent over 30 years in the luxury and consumer goods sectors, serving in leadership positions at prestigious companies. Notably, she managed the champagne houses Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, and Mercier, and held global marketing leadership roles at Lacoste and Mars Wrigley. Most recently, she led the champagne brand Moët & Chandon as president and CEO from 2020 to 2024.
The board of directors is confident in her abilities, describing her as a 'visionary leader with great analytical skills'. They believe she will drive Pandora's continued growth. Berta de Pablos-Barbier was brought on board as a potential CEO candidate alongside Lacik, indicating the board's early confidence in her leadership qualities.
Alexander Lacik will step down during the upcoming annual general meeting on March 11, 2026, making way for Berta de Pablos-Barbier to take the helm. Her appointment signals a new chapter for Pandora, with the company eager to build on the strong results achieved under Lacik's leadership and continue its steady strategic evolution.
