The closure affects regional trains 30, 31, 32, and 38, and the connections Bayreuth - Nuremberg, Pegnitz - Nuremberg, and Neuhaus - Nuremberg will also be impacted. However, Deutsche Bahn has arranged for replacement buses to run hourly from Pegnitz to Hersbruck.
Other regional trains will operate on the Hersbruck - Nuremberg route, but passengers are advised to check DB's website or mobile app for the most up-to-date information on their specific trains.
