Jianghuai Auto (JAC) is set to launch the sales of its new model, the YueYue, at the upcoming Beijing Auto Show 2010. The vehicle, described as a "very nice looker" in green, is expected to start at around 35,000 rmb.
The YueYue, developed by JAC Motors (Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd.), offers a size of 3535x1640x1475mm and a wheelbase of 2390mm. It is available with either a 1.0 or 1.1 engine and comes with both a 5-speed manual transmission and an automatic transmission option.
JAC Motor, the company behind the YueYue, is planning to apply for a production license. There have been rumours that Nio might buy two factories from JAC Motor, but no official confirmation has been made regarding this matter.
The YueYue is designed to compete with Chinese Aygo-clones in the market. Despite the anticipation, the article does not provide any new information about the YueYue's size, wheelbase, engines, transmissions, price, or appearance. There is also no information about Nio's highest revenue or any potential price cuts for the YueYue's new version.
Nonetheless, the YueYue is expected to make a significant impact at the Beijing Auto Show 2010, offering a stylish and affordable option for consumers in China.
