Real Estate Firm DORNIEDEN takes possession of Leichlingen territory for construction of novel residential district.
The Dornieden Group, a family-owned business with over 120 employees, has announced plans to develop a new residential quarter in the Unterbüscherhof district of Leichlingen, Germany. The company, which is now in its third generation of ownership, was established in 1913 and is headquartered in Mönchengladbach.
Dr. Henrik Hansert, the spokesperson for the Dornieden Group, made the announcement in a press release from the GmbH & Co. KG. The company operates in various regions of Germany, including North Rhine-Westphalia, Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Lower Saxony, and Northern Germany.
The development, which will be carried out in close coordination with the city of Leichlingen, will involve the initiation of the necessary building permit procedure. The plan is to develop a new residential quarter on the acquired land, currently planned exclusively in the form of row and semi-detached houses.
The Dornieden Group is known for its sustainable and affordable housing developments. The company's construction brands, Dornieden Generalbau and VISTA Row House, will be responsible for the construction of diverse single and multi-family houses according to location-specific and target-group oriented living concepts.
Ener-Q, Solar-Q, Electrofabrik, and Fiber-Q, subsidiaries of the Dornieden Group, will provide energy and infrastructure services for the new development. These services include heat supply, photovoltaic systems, electrical installation, and fiber optic networks.
The location in Unterbüscherhof combines the charm of the countryside with an established neighborhood. The development of the new residential area is expected to create urgently needed living space and sustainably strengthen the location of Leichlingen.
Future residents will benefit from the proximity to the metropolitan areas of Cologne and Düsseldorf, which are easily accessible by car. The Dornieden Group is looking forward to developing an attractive residential area together with the city of Leichlingen.
Dr. Sebastiaan Gerards, the head of the Dornieden Middle Branch, expressed excitement about the opportunity to transform a previously commercially used area into a new residential area. The company has acquired an approximately 8,000 square meter plot of land in Leichlingen, Germany, for this purpose.
