Recommendation for a radiation safety directive for workers' risk protection presented to the Commission.
In Wiesbaden, several bus lines have been temporarily rerouted due to the closure of Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, with the updated routing rules taking effect from Monday, August 18, 2025.
The affected lines include 3, 6, 16, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, and 49. For most of these lines, buses will follow their normal route until "Hauptbahnhof A," then detour via Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, turn into Wittelsbacherstraße, use a bypass to Wettinerstraße, and then continue via Gustav-Stresemann-Ring to "Berliner Straße."
However, there are exceptions for Line 22. In the direction towards the Berufsschulzentrum (vocational school center), after the bypass on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, it goes through Wettinerstraße directly to its terminus "Berufsschulzentrum." In the direction towards downtown, line 22 buses divert from Wittelsbacherstraße via Mainzer Straße, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, and Bahnhofstraße to the stops "Hauptbahnhof B" and "Hauptbahnhof A" (Kaiser-Friedrich-Ring).
Lines 3 and 33, which have trips via Brunhildenstraße, will coincide with Line 27 (Freizeitbad) to Hasengartenstraße, then return to their regular route via Hasengartenstraße. Lines 6, 33, and 49 will follow a new route from "Hauptbahnhof A" via Salzbachstraße, Gartenfeldstraße, Mainzer Straße, Welfenstraße, Weidenbornstraße, Brunhildenstraße, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, and resume their regular routes.
Lines 22 and 27 (Direction: Oberjosbach / HSK / August-Bebel-Straße) will start at "Brunhildenstraße," via Siegfriedring and Hasengartenstraße to the replacement stop in Weidenbornstraße, then Weidenbornstraße and Mainzer Straße to "Welfenstraße," and resume their regular routes. Line 27 (Destination: Freizeitbad) will follow a route from "Hauptbahnhof A" via Salzbachstraße, Gartenfeldstraße, Mainzer Straße, Weidenbornstraße, Hasengartenstraße, and resume its regular route.
Lines 16, 28, 37, and 45 do not have specific rerouting details provided in this announcement.
These detours are linked to ongoing water pipe breaks and construction work on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, which started earlier in August and extends through at least August 22, 2025. Passengers using these lines should expect route deviations primarily around Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, with line 22 having a more pronounced detour both ways. Regular service resumes for most lines heading into the city center from August 18.

In the light of the water pipe breaks and construction work on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, certain changes in the public-transit industry are imminent. For instance, Line 22 has a more pronounced detour both ways, deviating from its usual route, whileLines 3 and 33 will coincide with Line 27 in specific sections, affecting the finance sector due to potential disruptions in transportation services.
