Ralf Walter, a seasoned professional in the equities sector, has joined Berenberg's Asset and Wealth Management division as the equities platform driver. With a twelve-year stint at Allianz Global Investors (AGI) and previous roles at Cominvest and Allgemeine Deutsche Investment-Gesellschaft (ADIG), Walter brings a wealth of experience in asset management and strategic investment planning to his new role.

Walter's career in the financial industry began at Allianz Global Investors, a global investment firm that manages a diverse range of assets for institutional and individual investors. His time at the firm provided him with exposure to various investment strategies and asset classes, honing his skills in asset management and strategic planning.

Prior to Allianz Global Investors, Walter worked at Cominvest, a multi-asset investment manager that offers a range of investment solutions. This experience further refined his abilities in asset management and strategic investment planning. At ADIG, he managed the German equity fund among other responsibilities, further cementing his expertise in equity management.

In his new role at Berenberg, Walter will be based in Frankfurt am Main and will focus on strategic development within the equities sector. His role will involve developing and implementing strategies to enhance the performance of equity investments, potentially focusing on thematic investing, ESG considerations, or other contemporary investment approaches.
