Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis Showcases Economic Potential at Expo Real 2025
The Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis (RBW) is set to showcase its economic potential at Expo Real in Munich from October 6 to 8, 2025. Joining them will be partners from the regional joint stand, including financial institutions and businesses like VR Bank eG Bergisch Gladbach-Leverkusen, Kreissparkasse Koeln, Hahn Group, and Roesrath OSMAB Holding AG. The event aims to attract investment and interest from the real estate industry.
Landrat Stephan Santelmann and the Bergisch Gladbach delegation will join RBW in presenting two major projects at Expo Real. The first is the Rhombus site in Wermelskirchen, a new quarter spanning three hectares that will offer innovative services for business, education, and public uses such as a swimming pool and housing. The second is the Zanders area project in Bergisch Gladbach, covering 36 hectares, intended to become a mixed-use quarter for residential, business, and educational purposes in the long term. RBW and the city of Bergisch Gladbach will participate in the joint stand of the Cologne/Bonn region at the event. Volker Suermann, RBW's managing director, will lead the presentation.
Expo Real provides an opportunity for RBW to present the economic hub of the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis to the real estate industry. The Rhombus site and Zanders area projects are expected to attract significant interest, given their potential for innovative services and mixed-use development. With strong regional partners and a clear vision, RBW is poised to make a compelling case for investment in the area.
