Road Closure on John F. Kennedy Avenue: Bus Routes Diverted
The Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden has announced changes in bus travel planning due to the closure of Raiffeisenplatz/Wolfsfeld from August 19 to August 23, 2025[1].
During this period, both lines 45 and 49 will operate in reverse order. In the direction of Raiffeisenplatz/Wolfsfeld, the buses will return to their regular line path via B455 from the temporary stop "Raiffeisenplatz." Conversely, the detour in the direction of Südfriedhof will be via Siegfriedring, B455, and Washingtonstraße to the temporary stop "Raiffeisenplatz."
Unfortunately, the stop "John-F.-Kennedy-Straße" will not be served in both directions during the closure. Citizens can find further general information at the timetable displays of the affected stops.
For detailed information on the alternative stops and the full detour path, contacting ESWE Verkehr's mobility center or checking their official detour updates would provide the most accurate and up-to-date route information. The website of ESWE-Verkehr has an overview of all detour announcements on www.eswe-verkehr.de.
Current timetable information can be found in the interactive network plan on netzplan-our website.de. An overview of all detour announcements is also available on www.eswe-verkehr.de. The file size of the graphic for the press release is 546.93 kB and can be found in the press release.
