Russia's Khabarovsk Krai Launches Major Housing Upgrade
A significant housing upgrade is underway in Khabarovsk Krai, Russia. The initiative, part of President Putin's 'Infrastructure for Life' project, aims to resettle residents from dilapidated housing to new, comfortable apartments. The process is led by the newly appointed district head, Alexei Maslov.
The project, funded with 7 billion rubles from federal and regional budgets, will see the demolition of 8 dilapidated houses by the end of October, with a total of 32 planned by the end of the year. This is part of the third stage in Russia's dilapidated housing liquidation news. The process has already begun in the working settlement of Chegdomyn, with two more dilapidated buildings slated for demolition.
The resettlement will affect 862 residential units that pose a threat to life and health. While specific details on affected cities and settlements, as well as the number of new buildings and available resources, are yet to be announced, the project aims to provide residents with new, comfortable apartments in exchange for their dilapidated barracks.
The resettlement program is a key part of the national 'Infrastructure for Life' project, aiming to improve living conditions for residents in Khabarovsk Krai. With the demolition of old houses underway and new apartments planned, the region is set for a significant housing upgrade.
