New Residential Quarter Quartier Vierzig549 in Heerdt to Offer 1,000 Apartments
Quartier Vierzig549, a new residential district in Heerdt, is preparing for the construction of another 300 owner-occupied apartments in phases 4 and 5. This development is part of a larger project that covers approximately 116,100 square meters and includes rental and owner-occupied apartments.
The former Schiess machine tool factory site in Heerdt is being redeveloped into Quartier Vierzig549, which will offer its future residents their own infrastructure and communal green areas. The new residential quarter will also provide around 24,700 square meters for commercial use, including retail, medical practices, gastronomy, drugstores, pharmacies, and a kindergarten.
Approximately 4,000 square meters are planned for public green spaces, and public parking will be provided in a high-rise garage on 17,070 square meters. The sale of apartments from construction phases 4 and 5 will commence in the summer.
Quartier Vierzig549, named after the postal code of Heerdt (549), includes its own infrastructure and office space. The new Heerdt residential quarter offers ideal conditions for sustainable value development, with owner-occupied apartments available at relatively affordable terms.

In addition to the apartments in Quartier Vierzig549, another 185 freehold and affordable rental apartments, a daycare center with approximately 100 places, and a senior residence are being built at Hildegard-Knef-Straße and Hansaallee.
The development aims to cater to societal changes and individual lifestyle concepts, allowing for both urban and nature-oriented living.
