Exploring the Science of Energy Transition: Aboard the MS Wissenschaft Tour

Get ready to jump aboard the MS Wissenschaft, a floating science hub making its way through Germany! Federal Research Minister Dorothee Bär kicked off the tour, stressing the importance of science communication. "I want everyone who steps off this ship to have learned something new," Bär said during a recent press conference in Berlin.
This year, the MS Wissenschaft's focus is on energy transition, particularly the role of hydrogen as an energy source, offshore wind power, geothermal energy, and energy consumption and storage. The exhibition, sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Research, will visit over 30 cities, starting in Berlin on May 14-18 at Schiffbauerdamm.
The MS Wissenschaft is managed by Wissenschaft im Dialog, and offers daily free guided tours for visitors of all ages. Key stops on the tour also include Potsdam, Genthin, Burg, Hanover, the Ruhr area, and southern Germany.
