Shein Expands in France, Partners with Pimkie, Creates 200 Jobs
Fast-fashion giant Shein is bolstering its presence in France. It's targeting city centers and forming alliances with local brands like Pimkie to enhance its image and create jobs near me. Indeed, Shein is aiming to strengthen its market position in France by partnering with established local brands, such as Pimkie. This strategic alliance will allow Shein to leverage Pimkie's brand identity and physical retail network while expanding Pimkie’s international reach via Shein's vast online platform. This also marks the launch of Shein Xcelerator in France, a program supporting French brands in global expansion. The partnership will see Shein selling French clothing on its website, accessible in 160 countries. This move is expected to create 200 jobs within Pimkie's department store company. Shein already has 25 million French customers, indicating a strong local demand for its products. Indeed, Shein's expansion in France continues with plans to open a 1,200 square meter store in Paris and others in regional Galeries Lafayette, such as in Arles. This physical presence, combined with its online reach and partnerships, is set to further boost Shein's presence in the French market.
