Showcasing the Latest Gas-Powered Charger and Ram NASCAR Truck by Dodge at the 2025 Roadkill Nights Festival
On Saturday, August 9, 2025, the heart of downtown Pontiac, Michigan, will once again pulse with the roar of engines as the 10th edition of MotorTrend Presents Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge takes over the city. Running from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET, this annual event promises a thrilling lineup of muscle cars, electrified performance vehicles, and engaging fan experiences.
The event will see the public debut of new Dodge muscle cars, including the next-generation Dodge Charger models. Fans can also enjoy Dodge Thrill Rides, where they can ride as passengers in these powerful vehicles.
Ram will also have a significant presence, with a display featuring the Ram 1500 NASCAR concept truck, Raminator Monster Truck, and the Bucking HEMI® Experience. Several special Ram builds will also make their debut on the drag strip.
NHRA stars Matt Hagan and Leah Pruett will perform burnouts in 12,000-horsepower Dodge drag cars on Woodward Avenue. The street-legal drag racing will take place on a prime section of Woodward Avenue near Pike Street, with a walkable pit area allowing fans to interact with racers and see the drag cars up close.
The event will be livestreamed from 4 to 9 p.m. ET on YouTube channels MotorTrend and Dodge, as well as DodgeGarage.com.
Tickets start at $25 for general admission, with various packages available. Pontiac residents, veterans, children 12 and under (free), and Stellantis employees (free admission with badge plus one guest) can enjoy discounted rates.
The event will also feature a midway with vendors selling car parts, accessories, and t-shirts. There will be music and entertainment, as well as a huge car show. This year, Roadkill Nights will also host the Dodge Direct Connection Grudge Race for its fifth year.
Several celebrities are scheduled to attend, including blues guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd, who will perform a special national anthem rendition, and Roadkill hosts David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan. Other notable attendees include Matt Hagan, Leah Pruett, David Newbern, Mike Cotten, and Cristy Lee.
Roadkill Nights started as an offshoot of the Woodward Dream Cruise and has grown into a major event in its own right. This year, it promises to be bigger and better than ever, showcasing Dodge's commitment to muscle cars, electrified performance vehicles, and engaging fan experiences at this milestone 10th annual event.
Friends in the Detroit area have already caught a glimpse of the SIXPACK-fueled Charger, one of the vehicles expected to be unveiled. The event will take up a lot of territory in downtown Pontiac, bordering Woodward Avenue.
