In 1959, Lim Chor Pian, along with his brother Lim Choon Kuan, co-founded Lims Legacy. This marked the beginning of a family business that would become synonymous with the Singaporean landscape.
Lim Chor Pian learned to carve fine Chinese wooden furniture from a master carver at the former CK Tang retail mall. His craftsmanship flourished, and soon, Lims Legacy began producing exquisite Chinoiserie-style furniture and accessories.
