In a recent development, Gail Hollander, the current Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of J.M. Smucker Co., has announced her retirement effective April 2026. The company is currently conducting a search for her replacement.

Hollander, who has served as the CMO since 2023, has been instrumental in building J.M. Smucker's brand-building model. Under her leadership, the company transformed its brand-building model, elevated creative execution, and enhanced media strategy.

Prior to joining J.M. Smucker Co., Hollander spent 20 years at Publicis Group, where she held the position of president and group client lead. At Publicis Group, she managed the client relationship with J.M. Smucker Co.

The company's fourth quarter and full fiscal year results were shared in June. Net sales dipped 3% during the quarter that ended on April 30 but rose 7% for the full fiscal year.
