Starcom welcomes return of two executives as they take on roles of Chief Strategy and Client Officers.

Back at the Helm: Starcom U.S. has embraced two familiar faces to take the reins in key positions vacated by departing execs.

Preeti Nadgar is making her triumphant return to Starcom after a near-decade absence, stepping into the role of chief strategy officer. This marks her third stint at the agency, where she initially joined in 2004 and briefly returned in 2012. Her ascent at the agency culminated in her promotion to VP level before branching out to other agencies. Most recently, Nadgar served as chief strategy officer at GroupM media agency EssenceMediacom.

Nadgar replaces Kim Einan, who held the CSO position from 2022 until her departure in early 2025, and now works at Omnicom Media group agency OMD in the same role.

Preeti reflects on her decision to return to Starcom, stating, "Their legacy of leadership and limitless reinvention has always pulled me back. I'm eager to tackle clients' business challenges, build resourceful and dynamic teams, and create meaningful work."

Meanwhile, Kate DuBois is returning to Starcom as the chief client officer following the mid-2024 departure of Maureen Glure, who moved to GroupM agency Wavemaker as chief operations officer. DuBois joins the team from Initiative, where she served as global business lead.

Now, Nadgar, DuBois, and CEO Shelby Saville, along with chief investment officer Kristen Haarlow, join the Starcom U.S. C-suite.

When asked about the significance of these leadership changes, Shelby Saville emphasized, "We need visionaries who understand the stresses our clients face, while keeping tabs on consumer insights to develop groundbreaking media that actually delivers results. Our mission is to create a dynamic leadership team that can accelerate and transform our work, serve as trusted advisors to clients."

Saville also highlights Nadgar's knack for connecting strategy with human behavior and DuBois' performance-focused approach, claiming that their unique talents will aid the agency in providing both adaptability and clarity for clients.

Starcom has long been a hotbed for nurturing and re-energizing talent, explains Saville. "Many start their careers here or spend a key part of their careers with us. Starcom is a place where you hone strategic, buying, and client management skills that stay with you."

Saville reflects on the returning leaders, affirming, "They're Starcom alums through and through. It's thrilling to welcome them back for this new adventure."
