Steve Preston Named New Chairman of NRF Foundation
The National Retail Federation (NRF) has appointed Steve Preston as the new chairman of the NRF Foundation. Preston, previously the President and CEO of Goodwill Industries International, succeeds Tony Spring who will continue serving on the NRF Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
The NRF Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), connects people to retail opportunities through career resources, training, and scholarships. Preston, who also served as the U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and the Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration, will focus on advancing the foundation's education and training programs.
Laura Felice, BJ's Wholesale Club Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has joined the NRF Foundation Board of Directors. Adam Lukoskie, the NRF Foundation Executive Director, thanked Spring for his leadership and welcomed Preston's expertise.
Steve Preston takes the helm as the new chairman of the NRF Foundation, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous roles. The NRF Foundation, under his leadership, will continue to empower individuals to succeed in retail careers and contribute to the U.S. economy.
