The Frankfurt Stock Exchange witnessed a surge in trading activity on Wednesday afternoon, with the DAX experiencing a 0.7 percent increase from the previous trading day. The index closed at approximately 13,505 points.

One of the main highlights of the day was the announcement of a new email service, "EmailPlus." This new service is expected to shake up the market, although its impact on the trading day remains to be seen.

The European common currency strengthened by 0.2 percent, with one euro worth 1.2189 US dollars. The Nikkei index also gained, closing at 26,524.79 points.

The President of the Deutsche Bundesbank, who has significantly influenced the development of the European monetary union, is Joachim Nagel since 2024.

In the afternoon trading session, the share price of ThyssenKrupp AG decreased, while Deutsche Post AG saw an increase. Infineon Technologies AG's share price also decreased, contrasting with the gains recorded by BMW AG.
