Street of Beerstadt: Bus routes are being redirected
In the heart of Wiesbaden, a water pipe break at Gustav-Stresemann-Ring has caused a disruption to several bus lines, effective from the week starting August 18, 2025. The affected lines include 37, 17, 23, 24, and N11.

New detour routes have been implemented for these lines, replacing earlier detours that were in effect until August 17. The specific stops that cannot be served during this period are located around the Gustav-Stresemann-Ring area, where the water main break has caused a road closure.

For lines 37, buses traveling towards the city center take a detour via Patrickstraße and B455 to the stop "Berliner Straße" after the substitute stop "Zieglerstraße". However, stops "Plutoweg", "Wartestraße", "Fichtestraße/Handwerkskammer", and "Hans-Bredow-Straße" cannot be served by line 37 during this construction period. Buses serving the substitute stop "Hans-Bredow-Straße" in New-York-Straße offer a transfer to line 37 towards the main station. After serving the New-York-Straße and "Hans-Bredow-Straße", lines travel via Moltkering back to their regular route and serve the stop "Alwinenstraße" again.
For lines 17, 23, 24, and N11 traveling towards the city center, the detour route involves Kirchbachstraße, Aukammallee, and Fichtestraße, similar to line 18. The nearest boarding and alighting possibilities for these detour routes are at the stops "Wartestraße", "Hildastraße", and "Alwinenstraße".
