Strict Lockdown Enforced on Sundgauallee, Freiburg, Due to Unwarranted Vegetation Trimming
In the heart of Freiburg, motorists will face a two-day traffic disruption on the Sundgauallee. The affected section, stretching from Lehener Street to Berliner Allee, will be closed to traffic on Thursday, September 25, and Friday, September 26.
The City of Freiburg has announced the closure as part of green clearance works being carried out by the Garden and Civil Engineering Office (GuT). The works aim to maintain the slope along Sundgauallee and ensure traffic safety.
On Thursday, the closure will take place from 7 am to 4 pm. However, on Friday, the disruption will last only until 1 pm. This means that the closure will not affect the entire day on Friday.
