Here's a kickass update on the exciting news:

Clarion Gaming's Managing Director, Stuart Hunter, Ready to Brew Some Sweat for a Noble Cause

Clarion Gaming, the geniuses behind the upcoming industry-rocking event, ICE Barcelona, have made an incredible announcement. Their fearless leader, Stuart Hunter, will be stepping out of his role and into the mud for the Spartan Beast challenge—all to support a charity that puts smiles on the faces of little ones.

Spartan Beast: The Fitness Test of the Century

Just a few days ago, the team at Clarion Gaming confirmed that Hunter will be joining the ranks of the Spartan Beast conquerors. This ain't no walk in the park—it's a brutal 21km obstacle trail designed to push your body to its breaking point, featuring 30 grueling tasks like barbed wire crawls, rope climbs, and slip walls. Sounds fun, right?

But it's not all agony. Hunter's participating in this beastly test not only to prove he's got what it takes, but to fundraise for CHIPS—a charity born from some of the biggest fish in the gambling pond.

CHIPS: Because Every Kid Deserves to Move

CHIPS, or Children's Health in Play Schools, has been making a difference since day one. Through their tireless efforts, they've already managed to hand out over 700 wheelchairs tailored to help young people with mobility issues navigate the world with a bit more ease.

The Spartan Beast is set to take place in the beautiful Chiltern Hills, west London, on the 17th of May, 2025.

Lincoln Lindsay: The Unstoppable Force Behind CHIPS

CHIPS co-founder, Linda Lindsay, spoke about the dedication of the gambling industry to the organization's noble work. According to Lindsay, a significant chunk of the £4.5m raised by CHIPS came from generous entities like Clarion Gaming—and the latter has been a long-term supporter of their vision.

"CHIPS fundraisers have been known to go the extra mile to support the charity," Lindsay said, "but nobody has attempted a 13-mile assault course with crawls under barbed wires yet!"

Stuart Hunter: Guts, Glory, and a Generous Heart

Commenting on the topic, Hunter said that CHIPS was more than just a charity—it held a special place in his heart. "The charity aims to provide wheelchairs built specifically for each child," he explained, "and as a CHIPS Trustee, I've seen first-hand how those chairs can change lives."

Hunter hopes to raise £6,000 by finishing the Spartan Beast. According to the gaming exec, that amount will provide the full support required for one family. Finally, he encouraged businesses, individuals, or organizations to pitch in and support this heartwarming cause, emphasizing that 100% of all donations go directly towards wheelchair costs.

So here's to Stuart Hunter and his dedication to making the world a better place, brick by muddy brick, and wheelchair by wheelchair.
