Talavera Secures Record 14.3M Euros in European Funds
Talavera has secured a record-breaking 14.3 million euros in European funds, the highest amount in the city's history. The funds, primarily from the FEDER financial line for Integrated Action Plans, will be used to carry out numerous projects across Talavera, benefiting all its neighborhoods.
The city government has secured 12,156,122 euros from the European funds, with the remaining 1,845,278 euros to be provided by the municipality. The co-financing rate is 85%, meaning the European funds cover a significant portion of the projects' costs.
The projects span various areas, including the environment, sports, and culture. They are set to improve Talavera significantly and are provisional, with a phase of objections now beginning. The resolution's publication has initiated this process.
The councillor for European funds, Javier Muñoz-Gallego, will coordinate the project. The funds will reach all neighborhoods of Talavera, ensuring the city benefits widely from this substantial investment. This is a significant step forward for Talavera, with the European funds set to make a substantial impact on the city's development.
