Jens Teschke, a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in political communication, has been appointed as the Head of Public Affairs at ista SE. His new role will commence on April 1, 2025, and he will be reporting directly to ista CEO, Hagen Lessing.
Teschke's career in communications spans over two decades. Prior to joining ista SE, he headed the Berlin office of the Düsseldorf communications consultancy DZ-CON. Before that, he served as spokesperson for the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
In addition to his governmental roles, Teschke has also worked in the private sector. He headed the strategy and communication department at the Central Real Estate Committee (ZIA) and has a background as a former editor at Deutsche Welle.
