As a Senior Sales Engineer at RevenueCat, you will be the technical guide who transforms curiosity into action. Your primary role is to support the sales process by providing deep technical expertise, turning prospects into satisfied customers who are shipping their apps with RevenueCat.
Key responsibilities include running tailored discovery calls to understand customer needs, conducting live demos and deep-dive technical sessions to showcase RevenueCat’s product capabilities, and maintaining demo environments and technical FAQs to ensure effective and up-to-date presentations. You will collaborate closely with sales and technical teams to close deals by addressing technical challenges and delivering solutions aligned with client requirements.
To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as sales engineering, solutions architecture, or developer advocacy for a SaaS or developer-tool company. Strong technical knowledge of SaaS products and subscription management platforms is essential, as is the ability to perform technical product presentations and tailor technical discussions to the audience.
You will be comfortable with tools such as Linear, Notion, Slack, and Looker, and fluent with mobile stacks, reading and writing Swift or Objective-C, Kotlin or Java, Flutter or Dart, or React Native with TypeScript. You will mentor new Sales Engineers and contribute to scaling the enablement library, as well as create scalable content to answer common evaluation questions.
