Tous' International Sales Soar, Net Profit Up 31% in 2010

Jewelry retailer Tous has seen significant growth in its international sales and store presence. Spain remains its largest market, followed by Mexico. The company's net turnover and profit have also increased.

In 2010, Tous's international sales rose to 26.8%, up from 22.4% in 2009. This growth was driven by strong performances in Latin America and Asia. The company opened 32 new stores in 40 countries during 2011, bringing its total to 396 worldwide.

Tous's net turnover increased by 6.4% to €208.5 million in 2010. This growth was fueled by internationalization, which led to a 31% increase in net profit to €33.5 million. Spain accounts for 55% of sales, with Mexico in second place, having 55 points of sale after celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The replacement of José Luis Manglano as CEO of Tous is underway, with Susana Sánchez, previously CEO of Parfois, taking the helm. Despite the leadership change, Tous continues to expand its global footprint and improve its financial performance.
