Job Description and Core Responsibilities
As the Product Manager: Risk & Rapid Response, you will lead the product discovery and definition for a cross-functional team, including engineers, data engineers, QA, data analysts, and tech support. Your primary focus will be on strengthening risk posture and operational resilience while supporting traders with fast, reliable tools in a high-volume trading environment.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with trading, research teams, and other stakeholders to identify risk exposures, incident patterns, and trader needs. You will then translate these insights into actionable product initiatives focused on risk controls, monitoring, and incident response, ensuring they align with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements and Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess strong execution skills to deliver risk management product initiatives aligned with business, compliance, and operational goals. Experience with incident response processes and implementing technical risk controls is essential.
You should also be able to work cross-functionally with engineering, trading, research, and analytics teams, and have knowledge of cryptocurrency trading markets and market-making operations, although this is advantageous rather than mandatory. Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks related to trading risk is also beneficial.
