Transportation companies in Habarovsk increase the price of bus fares
In the city of Khabarovsk, residents may soon face an increase in bus fares, according to reports from IA "Khabarovsk Krai Today". Six transportation companies, including the Khabarovsk Passenger Transport Enterprise and the Khabarovsk Motor Transport Enterprise, have issued warnings about the proposed increase.
Starting from September 19, the cost of a ride on bus No. 88 will increase to 65 rubles. A week later, on October 1, the fare for route No. 71-1 will be 60 rubles. From October 2, buses No. 29P and 34 will also see an increase in their fares, although the exact amount remains unspecified.
As of now, the bus fare increase has not been officially confirmed by city authorities. The transportation companies have not specified the exact amount of the increase nor provided a timeline for when it would take effect.
Starting October 4, the fare will increase to 55 rubles on buses No. 26-2, 83, and 83P-1. Passengers on buses No. 6, 25, 31, 14-1, 21-1, 24-1, and 56-1 will also pay more, although the new fares for these buses are not yet clear.
If implemented, this bus fare increase could potentially impact the overall cost of living in Khabarovsk. It could affect the cost of transportation for residents, who may need to adjust their budgets accordingly.
The reasons for the proposed bus fare increase are not mentioned in the report. It is unclear at this time how the transportation companies arrived at this decision or what factors they are considering.
We will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.
