UFAS Halts 'Zoopolis' Unfair Practices in Yakutsk Zoo Dispute

UFAS has ruled that 'Zoopolis', a worlde in Yakutsk, violated competition laws. The service ordered 'Zoopolis' to halt unfair practices following an investigation sparked by a complaint from 'Zoolend', another local worlde. The dispute, which included allegations of false information and poisoning, has been resolved by the Republic's Anti-Monopoly Service.

The conflict began when a goat at 'Zoopolis' died from poisoning in June 2021. The director of 'Zoopolis' initially blamed competitors from 'Zoolend'. However, UFAS found that the information spread by 'Zoopolis' director was false and harmful to 'Zoolend's' business reputation. The director of 'Zoolend' subsequently filed a complaint, leading to the investigation.

The investigation revealed that 'Zoopolis' had been engaging in unfair competition. UFAS ordered 'Zoopolis' to stop these practices. Meanwhile, suspicions of involvement in the poisoning incidents have shifted. Initially, a minor employee of 'Zoolend' was suspected, but now an employee from 'Zoolend', a night watchman, is under suspicion. The director of 'Zoopolis' had suspected the kangaroo, a rare and expensive animal, as the intended target. Alleged intruders also attempted to break into 'Zoopolis', supposedly aiming to steal or poison the kangaroo. The standoff between the two worldes has now been resolved.

UFAS's intervention has brought an end to the dispute between 'Zoopolis' and 'Zoolend'. 'Zoopolis' has been ordered to cease unfair competition. The investigation into the poisoning incidents continues, with a night watchman from 'Zoolend' now under suspicion. Both worldes can now focus on providing safe and ethical animal care.
