Unveiling of Abundant Lithium-Rich Pegmatite Dyke Complex at Adina
New Discoveries at Winsome Resources' Adina Lithium Project
The Adina Lithium Project, owned by Winsome Resources, is making significant strides in Quebec, Canada. After a strategic exit from the Renard Project, the company has shifted its focus to Adina, which offers a more scalable and capital-efficient pathway to production amid volatile lithium markets.
The project boasts a robust resource base, with an Indicated category of approximately 61 million tonnes at 1.14% Li₂O and an Inferred category of around 16 million tonnes at about 1.15% Li₂O. These figures indicate a high-grade, near-surface deposit with a projected mine life exceeding 20 years.
Recent developments at the Adina project include the identification of multiple anomalous target areas within the pegmatite swarm, and large drilling campaigns are underway or planned to expand the mineral resource.
One of the key areas of interest is the Footwall Zone, a discrete zone of pegmatite mineralisation that has lithium mineralisation in the form of spodumene crystals, similar to the Main Zone mineralisation. The Footwall Zone has been intersected in drilling over a strike length of 760 metres (east-west), but the outcrop of the Footwall Zone has not been identified at this time. With the advent of spring and improved access, ground checking will be undertaken to confirm if the Footwall Zone comes to surface.
Delineation and modelling of the Footwall Zone will be important for project development, as it will be advantageous in future mining to target locations where the two zones are in close proximity. Assays have been received from 6 intersections of the Footwall Zone, with assays from another 11 drillholes awaited.
The distance between the Main Zone and Footwall Zone is observed to vary, likely relating to the structures along which the pegmatites were emplaced. The Footwall Zone is generally thinner than the Main Zone, but frequently more than one pegmatite dyke is intersected within the zone, with these noted to coalesce in certain locations leading to a thicker intersection.
Winsome Resources is also exploring the acquisition of nearby Renard processing infrastructure to accelerate development and reduce capital expenses by up to $500 million, enhancing project economics.
The project’s scale and resource grades position it among the key lithium deposits in Quebec and Canada overall. Winsome’s focus on capital efficiency and shareholder value suggests forthcoming announcements will likely emphasize resource growth and development pathway optimization.

The Adina lithium pegmatite dyke swarm at Winsome Resources is a significant, advancing lithium discovery with recent resource upgrades, ongoing drilling, and strategic initiatives aimed at making it a large-scale, economically viable lithium supply source in Quebec.
