- Unveiling of the Innovative Thermomix TM7 Kitchen appliance, Showcased Prominently Outside the Establishment
The Thermomix, a globally renowned kitchen appliance, is back with an upgrade. Vorwerk, its maker, has unveiled the new TM7 model, now available for pre-order. This iconic kitchen companion, which has become synonymous with cooking for many, boasts several new features. Vorwerk's CEO, Thomas Stoffmehl, announced that deliveries will commence in the second week of April.
Many companies offer similar products, but the name Thermomix remains the go-to term for many cooking enthusiasts and experts alike. As Martin Fassnacht, Professor of Strategy and Marketing at WHU, explains, "Thermomix is a cult. It has an iconic status. Strong brands tend to polarize; people either love them or hate them."
The Thermomix has been Vorwerk's crowning glory since its inception in 1971. The latest TM6 model, launched in 2019, has since been sold over 8 million times, making up over half of Vorwerk's revenue.
The new TM7 comes with several enhancements. For the first time, cooking without a lid becomes a possibility. The device, priced at €1,549 (€50 more than its predecessor), promises a smoother, more versatile cooking experience.
Rumors about the TM7's integration with AI and voice control have been swirling in online forums and blogs. While no specific details have been confirmed, customers can expect these features to be introduced in the future.
Vorwerk's products are exclusively distributed through direct sales, maintaining the unique charm and exclusivity that has become associated with the Thermomix brand.
As for the TM7's new features, it's rumored to incorporate advanced AI and smart assistance, enhanced cooking sensors, a larger and smaller bowl options, a 10-inch multi-touch display, integrated video tutorials, delayed start times, a bigger Varoma for steaming, and color customization options. Still, it's essential to wait for official confirmation from Vorwerk before getting too excited about these features.
Vorwerk's rival, Moulinex, also produces a range of kitchen appliances, but few can rival the thermal cooking capabilities of the Thermomix. Arguably, the thermomix and Moulinex's flagship appliance, the thermocook, are the leading names in thermal cooking machines online. The thermomix's new TM7 model, priced competitively with high-end appliances from Vorwerk's rivals like Thermocook, showcases its commitment to providing innovative and versatile cooking solutions.
