Vicente Aznar Re-elected as President of Ateval

Vicente Aznar has been re-elected as president of the Association of Textile Entrepreneurs of the Valencian Community (Ateval). He previously joined the association from the Institute of Textile Technology (Aitex) and has been leading Ateval since 2009.

Aznar, who is also the president of Aznar Textil, a textile manufacturing and marketing company established in 1881, brings significant industry experience to his role at Ateval. He took over from José Miguel Castilla, whose current position remains unclear.

The textile industry plays a crucial role in the Valencian Community, employing 25,000 people directly and representing 10% of the region's companies. This makes up 8% of the total industrial workforce, highlighting the sector's importance.

Vicente Aznar's re-election as president of Ateval ensures continuity in the leadership of the association. His experience in the textile industry, both through his role at Aznar Textil and his tenure at Ateval, will be vital in driving the sector's growth and development in the Valencian Community.
