VinFast Partners with Castrol India for After-Sales Support in India
VinFast, a pioneering electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has partnered with Castrol India, a leading lubricant company, to ensure reliable after-sales support for its customers in India. This collaboration, marked by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signals VinFast's long-term commitment to the Indian market.
VinFast, with its mission to make EVs accessible, has launched its first overseas assembly facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with an initial capacity of 50,000 vehicles annually. By the end of 2025, it aims to establish 35 dealerships across 27 cities in India.
Castrol India, with its 115-year presence and extensive footprint, will enable VinFast to offer broad and convenient after-sales care. VinFast will provide service manuals, diagnostic tools, training, and warranty coverage processes, while Castrol will ensure workshops meet infrastructure and capability standards. Castrol's selected Auto Service workshops will feature dedicated VinFast-branded service bays, certified EV technicians, and genuine VinFast parts. Both companies aim to raise service standards through advanced diagnostics, genuine parts, and digital-first support solutions.
VinFast's entry into the Indian market, backed by Castrol's robust after-sales support, is set to strengthen customer confidence in electric vehicles. With a long-term vision and commitment to reliable care, VinFast and Castrol aim to make EV ownership more accessible and convenient for Indian customers.
