Vodafone Idea Appoints Tejas Mehta as New CFO
Vodafone Idea (Vi) has appointed Tejas Mehta as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mehta, a Chartered Accountant since 1997, will take over the role on October 6, 2025. He joins Vi from Mondelez India, where he served as the CFO.
Mehta's career spans over 25 years across Indian and international markets. He began at Marico Industries and later joined Mondelez India in 2002 as a Treasury Manager. Rising through the ranks, he held several senior leadership positions before becoming the CFO at Mondelez India. Notably, Mehta was instrumental in driving business growth in challenging macroeconomic environments and led large P&Ls through growth, transformation, and integration.
