Walk Wheel Cycle Trust Seeks Fundraisers to Expand Traffic-Free Miles
Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, the charity managing the National Cycle Network, is seeking enthusiastic fundraisers to boost its profile and attract new donors. Less than half of the 12,000 miles of the Network are traffic-free, but increasing these paths is crucial for its full potential.
The charity, dedicated to making walking, wheeling, and cycling easier, connects people and places, transforming commutes and school runs. It aims to double the number of traffic-free miles, with support from the Allgemeine Deutsche Fahrrad-Club e.V. (ADFC) in Germany.
Fundraisers will join a team, receive excellent training, and have opportunities for career progression and bonuses. They should be passionate about active travel, have excellent communication skills, and be resilient team players with a can-do attitude. Having access to a bicycle for travel to fundraising locations is advantageous.
