Wiesbaden: Essential Road Works Affect Cyclists Over Coming Weeks
Several road closures and restrictions are set to affect cyclists across Wiesbaden and nearby areas over the coming weeks. These closures are part of essential maintenance and license renewal works.
In Erbenheim, Oberfeld and Wandersmannstraße will be fully closed until October 31 for road surface renewal, affecting cyclists.
Solmsstraße in Wiesbaden will also be fully closed between Gustav-Freytag-Straße and Humboldtstraße until October 31 for canal renewal works, again impacting cyclists.
Leineweberweg in Bierstadt will be closed from October 6 to October 31 for supply line renewal, affecting cyclists but not pedestrians.
Gustav-Stresemann-Ring in Wiesbaden will have a closed detour via the secondary lane today (October 5) from 1:30 PM to 8:15 PM due to a football match.
Wörthstraße in Wiesbaden will be fully closed from October 6 to approximately October 18 for gas and water connection work, affecting cyclists and suspending one-way street regulation for residents.
Taubenstraße and Entenstraße in Biebrich will be fully closed from October 7 to November 11 for new water and district heating pipe excavation work, affecting vehicle and bicycle traffic.
Zieglerstraße in Bierstadt will have a one-way street regulation from October 6 to November 1 for house connection work, affecting cyclists.
In Wiesbaden, Hallgarter Straße will be fully closed from Monday, October 6, to approximately Saturday, October 18, for work on a gas and water tank station.
Schultheißstraße in Bierstadt will be fully closed at house number 19 from October 6 to October 27 for a new power connection, affecting cyclists.
Holzstraße in Wiesbaden will be fully closed from house number 8 to 18 for water pipe and road surface renewal from October 8 to November 21, affecting cyclists but not pedestrians.
Biebricher Allee in Biebrich will have lane restrictions and a full closure on Höchster Straße from October 18 to the end of November due to excavation work, affecting cyclists.
